November 13, 2024 Public Hearing

COELIG is excited to host its 2024 Public Hearing November 13 at 1:00 pm at the NYC Bar Association located at 42 W 44th Street, New York, NY.

The public hearing's purpose is to hear testimony and receive comments concerning: 

• the Commission’s operation; 
• proposed and potential changes in the laws it administers and its jurisdiction, rules, and regulations;
• the effectiveness of current state ethics and lobbying laws; and 
• recommendations to improve the structure, administration, communication, and enforcement of ethics and lobbying laws and regulations in New York State.  
  
   

How to Register:

Members of the public wishing to provide oral testimony during the hearing can sign up to speak in person or via videoconference by November 6 by emailing [email protected]. 

Speakers participating by video conference may also attend from the Commission’s offices at the following locations:
