Who should take On-Demand Ethics Training?
The on-demand ethics training video should be completed by:
- Employees who completed live comprehensive ethics training (CETC) in 2025 with the COELIG Training Team or at their own agency.
- New hires unable to receive live training within the first 90-days of entering state service.
Important information for New hires (employees new to state service)
New hires who take the on-demand as their initial training are required to complete a live CETC training by December 31, 2026.
Information for Agency Users
Tracking employee data in SETA
- Existing employees - employees eligible to complete the On-Demand Ethics Training in 2026 will have their employee record automatically updated in SETA.
- New hires - indicate the number of new hires and existing employees who completed the on-demand ethics training in your monthly aggregate statistics in the box labeled number 4 in the below screenshot.
SETA will not allow you to mark a new hire completed for the on-demand as their initial class. By law, new employees are still required to complete live CETC training.
