Who should take On-Demand Ethics Training?
The on-demand ethics training video should only be completed by employees who completed live comprehensive ethics training (CETC) in 2025 with the COELIG Training Team or at their own agency.
The following agencies do not allow their employees to complete an Online Ethics Refresher/On-Demand Ethics Training:
- All Department of Corrections (DOCCS) facilities
- All Office of Mental Health (OMH) facilities
- All Department of Transportation Regions
- All Division of Housing and Community Renewal employees
- All Civil Service employees
- All Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) employees
- All SUNY Upstate Medical University employees
- All Office of Parks and Recreation employees
- All Division of Military and Naval Affairs employees
Information for Agency Users
Tracking employee data in SETA
- Existing employees - employees eligible to complete the On-Demand Ethics Training in 2026 will have their employee record automatically updated in SETA if the employee (1) has an existing employee profile in SETA and (2) they were marked completed for a live CETC in 2025.
By law, new employees are still required to complete live CETC training.
